My relationship with Elizabeth Crawford goes back to when I spent two summers living at, and helping on a farm & table restaurant called Lightyears in Wisconsin’s Driftless Region. Liz would come to visit and cook wonderful meals inspired by her travels and unique perspective. I remember they would always be accompanied by stories and delightful connection both around the table and in the kitchen. It was a treat to reflect Liz’s sensibilities, stories and history in her first cook book.
