Winter Update
Hey Ya! So winter has begun to wear out its welcome around here. So I'm gonna take some time to tell you what's been goin' down. The bus shelter art project funded by a blink grant, which I was part of last summer has since been written up in Public Art Review, one of the world¼s major art journals critically exploring contemporary public art.
I have recently begun digging into a new series of work, playing with a small made up society of farmers. I have been making alot of reference to japanese form and stylings with them. The first unveiling will take place March 28 and 29 for a show titled "3 Dreams" with Nina Bednarski and Rebecca Peebles.
On the "Create and Release" front I have begun to expand a bit more.
You can now pick up your new buddies at Moco Market or Nutzy Mutz and Crazy Catz in Madison, or online at the shopping mall on etsy.
Fall Update
Alot has happened since the last update here. I worked on a project funded by the city of Madison with a Blink grant. I was one of six other artists who painted the bus terminals located on the capital square in Madison. The project was written up by Aesthetic Grounds an online blog run by Glenn Weiss. You can view the article here.
I have been uploaded a bunch of new work to my design section. You can check some samples from projects that I have completed while working with my new friends at Glowac+Harris Madison, including the nifty little bullet sequence that welcomes you to their newly designed website.
I have also begun to slowly release some little baby animal t'shirts into the world. Initiating a create and release program. You can see some of the new little worldly friends at the temporary shopping mall located in the fabulous land of etsy.
